Today, we have an important announcement regarding the future of Taqueria — the open-source, extensible, plugin-based development workflow framework for Tezos applications.
Over the coming days, ECAD Labs will transfer Taqueria to Pinnacle Labs, headed by Michael Weichert, a Senior Software Engineer and the former Taqueria team Technical Engineering Lead.
We are confident that Pinnacle Labs shares our vision for the future of the Tezos ecosystem and that their expertise and commitment to excellence will ensure the ongoing success of Taqueria. We have already begun the transition process, working closely with the team at Pinnacle Labs to ensure a smooth handover and a seamless continuation of the project.
Since 2021, ECAD Labs has poured its passion and expertise into building Taqueria, transforming it into a powerful tool that has simplified developing, testing and deploying applications on the Tezos blockchain.
We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished and the amazing work our team put into this project. As we look back on our journey, we are humbled by the positive feedback and active participation from all of you. You can learn more about our work on Taqueria through our most recent public report on the project, found here.
First and foremost, we want to express our immense gratitude to the entire Tezos community, particularly the developers and Tezos ecosystem stakeholders who have contributed their valuable input, support, and enthusiasm to the Taqueria project. Your involvement has been invaluable. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Tezos Foundation for their generous funding, which has allowed us to work tirelessly to evolve the Tezos ecosystem.
Taqueria feature and support requests can now be directed to Pinnacle Labs. You can join their Discord server to communicate with the Pinnacle Labs team, and the Taqueria project repository will soon reside with Pinnacle Labs on GitHub.
We are confident that under the guidance of Pinnacle Labs, Taqueria will continue to make a significant impact and serve as a powerful tool for the Tezos developer community.
Here’s to the next chapter of Taqueria and the bright future of the Tezos ecosystem!
ECAD Labs Inc. will continue as the maintainer of Taquito, the web3 library for Tezos and Signatory, a Tezos Remote Signer. ECAD is steadfastly committed to the Tezos ecosystem.
With warmest regards,
The ECAD Labs Team
